who cares about mexico….festival year
What I originally heard was CID signed a 3 year contract with the venue in Mexico and featured Phish years 1 and 2 and Dead and Company year 3 ( 2018). So maybe 2019ish.
Highly unlikely, unless it’s later in the year.
Mexico #1 was announced early fall(?) and I remember peeps complaining they had already put out for Dick’s and prepared for NYE. Which left them without much capital for Mexico.
Mexico #2 was announced late spring during tax refund season. This allowed most to just forward their “found money” towards the trip.

They will likely start touring the east in mid June. Possibly SPAC around July 4th. They would then likely have a week off for rest and travel to west coast. That said the Gorge would likely occur somewhere between the last two weeks of July through first two weeks of August.
Looking at past appearances this is the timeframe they have been booked. Anything past Labor Day is just too cold at night.

I heard Watkins Glen.
With the festivals at the Gorge (Paridiso, Watershed, Etc) that are always on the same weekend, you can pretty much bank on mid July. Live nation does all of the Gorge ticketing and they are very specific about keeping routine times for their reoccurring music festivals.
I’m hearing they do it in April next year. Will be chilly that’s for sure!

I’ve been to every Gorge show. Except for ’97 when they played on the first 2 days of August,& ’99 when they played in early September, every other show has been in July. and always the second half of July. my .02
I live in Watkins Glen. Have heard from Sherrif’s office connection that they are stockpiling human resources, from this county and others, for a weekend in August at the track (not NASCAR). The Indy Car series was also cancelled for 2018 due to scheduling issues. Watkins Glen Harbor Hotel completely blocked out third week of August.

Other than Europe and the Island tour, Phish hasn’t done a spring tour since 94.

Wrigley was so badass… they should play Wrigley ever summer like Pearl Jam does. Tickets and space for days! Scalpers and ticket hoarders takin’ a bath. Everyone who wants to go actually gets in. All good things!
I see PJ all the time, they don’t play Wrigley every year, they have played there twice ever, once in 2013 and two shows in 2016.

Speculating that the Gorge run will be the weekend of July 20th based on the availability calendar of the Cave B Inn and Spa, and it will be a three nights run.
Nope, I take back my comment. Looks like there’s some paddling event then.
Watkins in August is a done deal, promoter has been on site several times in the last few months, playing with a name along the lines of ‘gorge’ / gorgeous in reference to the Watkins glen state park gorge trail, which may be leading to confusion with a date at the gorge in Washington, but probably no official word until march

3 nights for TAB at The Civic in New Orleans, Louisiana starting Thursday, April 26 which is the first weekend of Jazz Fest.
I have heard they booked MSG for summer dates this year & in ’19. The security guards on the way out after the NYE show were saying ‘see you in the summer!’ so that could confirm the report. I would guess a few shows at the end of July or early August at the Garden before the fest at Watkins Glen are very likely.
