Phish Not returning to Watkins Glen in 2013
Johnny – So at this point, you can definitively say Phish would not be returning to Watkins Glen this summer?
Michael – Nope, Sorry folks, Phish is not coming back this summer. We are not even in discussions. We told them we’d stay in touch and every now and again, Richard (Glasgow) and I email each other and stay in touch but we don’t have any Phish shows coming back this summer.

- Festival at another Northeast Race Track, Watkins Glen is the current front runner but there is another race track with interest.
- 30th anniversary festivities
Phish 4 Nights at MSG Dec 28 – 31, Ticketmaster on Sale October 20, 2012
No surprise to anyone, Phish will return to MSG for another four night New Year’s run. Ticketmaster on sale for all 4 nights will be October 20, 2012. Mail order will begin next week.
Phish 2013 – 30th Anniversary Year to be big year with “tons of surprises!”
According to Chris Kuroda:

3) He confirmed a new year’s eve run. This may not shock many because of the Relix article and what the My Morning Jacket frontman had to say but hearing it from Kuroda makes it pretty official to me. (EDIT: In case it wasn’t apparent, he confirmed NYE at Madison square Garden)

Phish Books MSG on NYE for the next 4 years
Jim James confirms rumors that MMJ plan to play Boston on New Year’s Eve because Phish has already booked Madison Square Garden. “It’s a shame because we wanted to do more New Year’s shows at the Garden, but Phish booked it for the next four years,” James says. “We haven’t confirmed this yet, but we’re close to finalizing a New Year’s show in Boston. It’s just not one hundred percent yet. The crowd there is always really rowdy and fun. It would also be an easy travel for people in New York or Philly. Again, it’s not one hundred percent, but we’re all kind of drooling over the idea right now.”
